Why????
Earlier today I was wondering why it was that everyone from other countries are like really smart and also know like 50 bajillion languages, and yet the U.S., which is filled with idiots like me, is the most technologically advanced nation in the world (To my knowledge [some farmer in Kazakastan could've stumbled across teleportation]).
For the answer to this question, I turned to my Brazillian friend Daniel, and here is what he had to say:

Other countries want to have their people to be smart, to be better than the United States. Its like people in a school trying to out do other people in the school, just to prove that they are better than the other person, which in some cases isn't true.
I never try to out do anyone. Even myself, hehe. I'm too lazy for that. (:
